As you may be aware, the Xtreme Folding@Home Team has been one of the fastest rising teams in the world, tearing through the ranks from obscurity a few months ago to 36th place in the world, all this with only around 40 active members against hundreds for some of our rivals.

Our immediate goal is to break into the top 30 by the end of September, and hopefully top 20 within the year. To achieve these goals as quickly as possible, we need more members to fold for us. Therefore I am appealing to all our 3DMark brothers to lend a helping hand.

Folding only uses your idle CPU cycles. You don't have to fold fulltime. The program can be stopped anytime and resumed later.
It even burns in your cpu and ram!

So what do you say?

That's a brilliant Idea DDTUNG!

These guys have some big guns and could really crunch the hell out of some protiens!

If you guys will help out...I will try my best to return the favor. I think I could squeeze some good marks out of my new rig with some coaching from the 3D guys.:D

Wow, it really pushes the cpu! Up to 54c right now. Highest I have seen it was 55c. Glad to help, this is my first time folding, figure I might as well do it for Xtreme Systems.

My second system has become unstable for some reason. Until I get it straightened out, I am down to folding with one system again. Hope to have it back up soon and have my third system running as soon as possible too.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking here for a couple of months now, and can see that this is a truly professional forum, that I would be honored to post in.

I have had my mediocre score flying under the Xtremesystems.org tag for a while, and am all for joining your folding team.

I hope my computers can be put to a good use.

As expected, 2cpu.com is poised to pass us this weekend. Latest stats show them outfolding us by around 250 points a day. Noskillz and I will be adding major firepower in the coming week which should see us outproducing them. In the meantime, we need your help to try to hold them off, or keep their lead to a minimum, until the reinforcement is in place. It won't be for long, maybe a few days, and any help from our 3DMark brothers will be greatly appreciated.:)

I thank you all in advance.
