Hello everybody!
I'm building a new rig and I've got to buy the storage. Since it's a gaming computer, performance is more important than reliability, to a certain extent.

Is Intel still the way to go when it comes to SDD? I bought two Intel 2G drives one or two years ago and I'm happy with them. I think Intel had their own controller back then. Do they still use their own controller? I was thinking about 2x520 120GB. Do these drives have any known problem? I can also buy Samsung, Crucial, Corsair and OCZ in my area but I'm not sure if they are better drives. All these other brands are cheaper when it comes to GB/$ but so if they are as reliable as Intel they might be a good choice.

Also, is there any good software I can use to create an image of the RAID discs just in case I need to reinstall? Any backup tools for RAID 0 SDDs?

Thank you very much!

If you want some of the best, buy 2x Plextor m3p. Want cheap and good, buy samsung 830 or crucial m4 :)

Wrong section, this is not xtreme storage ;)
