Surprising that temps were that close. The sniper has 36 x 0.5mm width channels/fins, and the phobya UC1 has much higher surface area at 70 channels/fins x 0.25mm. Though other difference may be in height of pins/channels and different injector plates/bow etc.

You have to take in to account the massive flow hit that the phobya takes, at 100% it has 32% less flow vs the DT block, if it worked on a 1-1 basis, which it doesn't, that would meant a need for 32% more surface area for the same performance. Sniper also has that funny injection plate that will impact final results. Funny thing is the EK Supreme injection plate has exactly the same size of the one on phobya's block. I'll try the phobya with EK's plate #6 to see what happens.

On most of the cpu blocks tested at skinneelabs (http://skinneelabs.com/full-nickel-ek-supreme-hf-review/7/) which I am sure you have seen, there is usually about 0.5C difference at 1.3gpm vs 2.0 gpm, which is roughly the flow difference you are getting between the 2. Usually surface area even with little higher restriction wins out, just was interesting to see. Will be interesting to see how your setup tests the supremecy in regards to those 2. I got 1.5C difference just between my supreme hf and DT sniper. Just interested to see if your sniper is testing that much better than mine on your rig, or if phobya is testing worse than what was shown in other testing. But so far based on your tests, Im glad I didnt get they phobya.

Now I've to test the reverse... Phobya injection plate in EK block.

Check out what EK injection plate did on phobya block

So phobya plate has waves, thicker? so different bowing of block, and both have single slit but ? same size or not?

I would say EK Inj. plate is thicker. The single slit is twice as large on the EK plate.
