I'm pretty sure all the guys at Corsair now are retarded, or have their heads shoved up some SSDs...

Their memory either sucks or is way overpriced, which is why everyone buys G.Skill now anyway.

Deja vu.

Aluminum isn't so bad.

As long as you have only aluminum in the whole loop, that is.

Ohh, glad we can help the 5% that actually read forums that say:

Aluminum blocks are bad for a watercooling loop.

We'll see some show up here, few thankfully that ask why they have issues in a few months..........

And the endless ram cooling questions.

>0.02$ start
rem: IMHO there is absolutely no point in ram liquid cooling novadays
>but 2-3 mm copperplate and soldered flattened 3/8" id (for g1/4) on top of plate will do the job and costs 5$ max...
>0.02$ stop

I'd say that another small gotcha would be inclusion of barbs, and of two tubing sizes at that. Many use own fitting set for all the components in loop, so imho choice of making costlier block from copper could be justified by simply not including barbs in set. Win-win?

Time to raid the museum of ancient watercooling for all those Innovatek parts then:rofl:

*facepalm*

And to think Corsair used to have a presence on many forums and actually seemed to value user input...what happened?

Guess they didn't see all those threads about mixing metal! Hope they see this one :)

schoolslave: why do you think that single minor importance product stripes out everything else made by Corsair? Yeah, miss. No, not the end of the world. Just funny mistake for few of us to smile :) And i won't even shout for Corsair to fix it. See no need in it. There have been fine blocks by BP/EK/MIPS made for dominator ram modules since long time ago, no need to see 4th made better.

they had done this before the 1st time they put a water block out, it is nothing new for corsair to not make something that is terrible for cooling.

also, why do you need liquid on ram?

people buy 30$ aluminum waterblocks so they can spend 19$ per port on bitspower fittings

Awsome, finally something I can put my Innovatek rad on! I can even break out the old Innovatek HDD coolers!

Well if they are selling aluminum for WC then it is likely they use plastic or wood as the stock heat sinks.

need? no, but do it anyway cause a properly done ram cooler like for example the mips ones are wc pr0n? yep.
