Hey guys, do you know if a Prommy Mach 1 will fit on a DFI LANPARTY NFII B? I am going to plug my 2500 xp-m into it if it will fit.

It fits as I am using mine on an infinity for a while :)

It's not as much room as on the abit nf7-s but it fits.

Hey man, is that 2.860 stable? That is like a dream to me if I could get that speed stable.

The cpu is stable but my board/mem aren't completely stable...

Ram is brand-new and probably needs some serious burn in as I got used to with all my bh-5 (esp. kingston).

I had the cpu at 2,95Ghz with 2,18V and I think it would be doable if the bugger would not be locked... grmpf

Mult 11x is the only one :(

Hm I've got a DFI Lanparty and I also wanna buy a Prommy, but the problem is the boot issues with the DFI NF2 boards.
I often have to restart a few times and unplug the psu, that it finally starts.
That'll be a problem with Prommy, right ?

the temp probs with the prom and sub zero temps in general are solved by turning off the boot-up health feature in bios...

I also experienced the boot probs you describe. sometimes the rig is rebooting and does not come back. Then I have to hit reset to get it back up again...

Weird.

Hm I don't have a Prommy yet, so no Sub-Zero probs. The booting problems are nearly everytime I bootup (watercooling)

Yeah. I know what you are talking about :)

I wrote that I know these probs too... But they were not present with my first board :( My third one has them obviously.

And what did you do with your third ?

Using it with Prommy ?

yepp. :)

But this one is a bad one too according to voltages this time :(

Trying to rma my 1st one and if this board is not better then I will go LP revB maybe because voltages are always a little higher with it...

Hm compressor doens't get harmed from the many restarts and shutdowns ?
Cause someone told me, I should at least wait one minute when I switched the pc off.

SAE

No. I do not think the compressor gets harmed. It's written down in the manual that the compressor won't start up if the time span between restarts is too short. They say it might last 2minutes...

But for me it's restarting fine everytime... :)
