Hey guys, I'm going to build a new P4 C1 rig around the
Epox 4BDA motherboard, since currently it's my favorite
out of the ones I've used....

I was just wondering, since I have enough cash to buy
either the 2.66b or the 2.8b, which is the best overclocker?
I want to hit above 170 fsb with a 3:4, and I know my memory
will do it..... what's my best chance?

BTW, I'm just using an alpha pal 8942 with a panaflo m1a
for now......

170FSB with those CPU's will be tough with the Alpha.

150~160FSB is more realistic

Even with 1.79vcc?

at 20x-21x multiplier? it won't be easy. 150fsb on air will be your max, it's just my opinion.

that's kind of what I'm afraid of.......

but then again, there are reports of people using the 2.8
on a kanie type w to get like 3400 mhz, with I think 1.675 vcc....

then again, they could've just had a super chip......

I think I'll take my chances, and if it doesn't do well on air,
well it'll give me reason to build phase-change sooner.....
or maybe I'll even get a prometia......

2.66 = $800
2.8 = $1020

both Australian dollars. Ill stick with the 2.66 for both price and lower multiplier....:)

ID get the 2.8 if I had a job though :p
hehehehe
