Building an Ivy Bridge system. Is anybody still using this block and for cooling Ivy Bridge? Trying to save money so I can just buy an adapter and call it a day. It was either this or get the Swiftech Apogee HD, but trying not to spend the money if performance gain is negligible.

Seems it should be just fine as long as the cpu cores are still in relatively the same area and size as the original i7's.

I dont know the layouts of the newer chips so cant guess offhand.

Also nickle plated copper so not technically all copper, mine has nicely avoided picking up fingerprint oxidation.

Sure, no problem to use the cpu-350 block with your new ivy bridge sys. ! The Apogee HD is surely better, but not necessary.
