Hello,

I have an EK Multioption RES X2 250 Advanced reservoir, and I'm going to be using it in a loop in a CaseLabs T10 case. Unfortunately, the area where I want to mount it (next to the motherboard tray) has no screw holes. Does anyone have experience using other things, such as double-sided tape (I was thinking this product in particular (http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotch-2-Inch-36-Yard-Double-Sided/dp/B000PSB7BI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ac_1)), to mount the reservoir clamps? It seems like a viable option, but I'm worried about the tape ripping the paint off of the case should I ever need to remove the clamps.

Don't use the foam tape. Use 3m double sided industrial strength tape. Will hold much better and does not pull off the paint. Now wether it can hold on with the res filled is something you will have to see for yourself as the clamps for that res have a small base so there may not be enough surface area. I would suggest you drill a hole and use tge screws

what mav2000 said + occaisionally apply a little pressure to the mount over the next 24hrs and that tape will hold very well. Eventually, it wind up to where you will have to scrape it off. WIPE BOTH SURFACES WITH ALCOHOL FIRST.

Or, drill a couple holes?

Yeh. I'd just drill the holes. Measure ten times, drill once.

+3 on driling some custom holes.

If the full res falls and takes out your system...itll be a bad day.

Alright, you've talked me into it. Never done anything like this, so wish me luck!
