Ok so I'm almost to dual reference 6950's unlocked to 6970. Second card should be here next week. Now I want to water cool these heaters. I'm looking at the EK 6970 water blocks. My question pretains to passing the water between the 2 cards. I'm looking at the enzotech sli/xfire bridge. I have seen some folks use 2 of these in between the cards while others use just one. Which is better???

Using dual SLI fittings will allow you to have a parallel flow configuration, while a single SLI fitting will only allow for serial flow configuration. Go with whichever is easier or looks better since it won't make a big difference in temperatures. IIRC, parallel is only worth it once you go with 3 or 4 GPU's.

so theoretically parallel is better for temps I can understand that. In reality though I shouldn't expect much OK. I dont think either is easier than the other and at only 14$ more for a second set i think it would look better with 2 lol. Only reason I choose the enzotech one is that all my other fittings are enzotech so i thought it'd be a better match.
Thanks for the input Raul-7

No problem. I currently have dual GTX470's in parallel and they're within 2 degrees of each other at load.

And a bit easier on the flow rate.

id always recommend parallel flow for more than one card.
plus it does look cooler.
