In 2011 Team.XS did great in the comps. This year with new guys and old farts its gonna get better.

Goal: Have Xtreme Fun Benching and Reap the Boints/Exp!

been a while since i benched anything for fun really... some heaven dx9 but its hit its tuning limit. 3dmark01 is so fun for tweaking :D

I wish my work finishes early today. lol yesterday I got home @ 1am(worked 7am-12am) and sorta tweaked that via cpu and got the updated score. slept @ 3am, woke up @ 6am and drove 1hr to get some parts for my work. I haven't had lunch yet and its already 4pm. Wish I had a cat to overclock for me lol.

I don't think a cat is suitable for that, they provide good benching karma but they're very limited in their overclocking capabilities. Actually I thought about training monkeys for CPU and memory pretesting. Are you in for one too? :rofl:

it just needs a ddr3 stick and a psu,

tRCD of 4 makes it amazingly responsive but i haven't tried firefox on it.

I am going to order the card this weekend, not sure of the controller, but I figure it is a good card to try cold for a first timer:)

I was thinking about getting a HD7770, but there are no MSI branded ones in retail in Poland. That and the fact I'd have to solder it to oblivion, killing resale value...

Yeah the controller doesn't look like it supports i2c. A simple vmod should suffice though

Regular feedback vmods are easily reversible, I was thinking of resoldering caps and chokes to the backside :P

so I posted an air run for the 7770 for this months comp, but I am stuck at 1200/1250 in AB and curious what is needed to go higher. If I flash to a bios other than an MSI, will my submission be considered valid?

also I checked out Zen's heaven tweaks and most were for Nvidia cards, any tweaks besides the tessellation tweak in CCC for ATI?

Is it possible to mesh bioses with RBE? I thought you could do something with it where you could inject the clock limits from one bios to another.

bingo, hit the nail on the head, now to find out how to get the memory clocked higher. . .

it actually seems like this might be a decent sample, almost 1300/1465 on air, now I just need to learn how to tweak heaven properly so efficiency isn't bad:D

heaven scores from djsub were good coz of the memory speed. also pm zenEffect for the tweaks. he's tested the heaven benchmark like no other lol
