hey mates how are you doing ?

im thinking of getting 2 of this block

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12305/ex-blc-852/EK_GeForce_570_580_GTX_VGA_Liquid_Cooling_Block_-_Acetal_EK-FC580_GTX_Acetal_Hot_Item.html?tl=g30c311s1351&id=v6cpMJzw&mv_pc=1133

what i dont know is what connector from EK i need to use

is it this ? do i need paralell or serial ? and what other pieces are needed as i really dont understand how its connected to the cards

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10970/ex-blc-757/EK_FC_Bridge_Dual_Serial_-_SLI_Connection_EK-FC_Bridge_DUAL_Serial.html?id=v6cpMJzw&mv_pc=1324

im currently running APOGEE HD + MCP655 VARIO EK TOP + BLACK ICE Xtreme 360 rad + 1/2 Masterkleer tube + micro res rev2

can i run the 2 cards on the loop ? my guess is that will be enough as my 2600K does not heat at all even at 5Ghz as its now...

this is my temp while writing with 27.6 Celsius ambient temp and 30.8C water temp

last core is always higher

Hi Sergio,

you radiator/pump should be adequate. What type of motherboard do you run?

I would recommend parallel connection bridge if you are running two identical water blocks.

Note: DUAL bridge is for motherboards with 1.6" (40.8mm) space between the slots you will use, the DUAL Tri-Slot is for motherboards with 2.4" (60.9mm) space between the slots.

You can educate yourself a bit more over through our webshop, for example: http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-connection-parts/ek-fc-bridge-dual-parallel.html

P.S.: Make sure you have the right graphics card for this waterblock. Some EVGA's tend to have no IHS over the GPU. Please consult www.coolingconfigurator.com prior making any purchase!

How would I know if my two EVGA GTX580's will work with your full cover block? They are the 3gb variant.

You have to go by product numbers. It is also recommended to dissasemble the cards and visually inspect whether the card has IHS or not. We have coolers for both types of cards, it's just that you have to pick the right one :)

Here's something interesting to read about:
