That's exciting. I can't wait till the benchmarks start rolling in. Or more accurately, the overclocking results.

Well this stinks, what i wanted to do was get the X6 for the family rig and move that Athlon II X4 along with a new Bulldozer compatible mobo + DDR3 to my rig, then eventually move to BD.

So BD is just barely faster than Phenom II, i should just move the X6 to my rig?

I really wanted to go AMD, but it looks like i'd be better off waiting until i can afford an Intel overhaul with Ivy Bridge compatibility.

I :rofl: at this one! There might be an agreement of sleeping in the dog house if you did this. But what you could do is a strategy like some video games do in micro payments. the game is free to play but along the way, if you want nicer stuff, then you gotta pay. Maybe every couple of pay checks, buy a PC component and stash it away in the closet until you've got a full rig....then start building the next one :up: Micro payment scheme!
