I have always wanted to mod a pc case just never had the guts to do it i guess but after seeing Bill Owens Bf3 case i was set on doing one myself. I am going to use my current system as i really dont have the money to get new parts but im going to do the best with what i have tool wise and part wise.

Build parts

Silverstone Raven 02
i7 2600k
H100 (its not real water cooling but all i could affford just had a baby)
16g Corsair vengence 9-9-9-24 1600
Gainward 580gtx phantom 3g
2x Wd 1tb Cavs
60g ocz vertex 2
1000w Antec
lg and benq dvd burners


So thats the parts list im going to take some before pictures and post up new pictures along the way i going to try get some cash together and get a Ek or Koolance Water setup just so i can do my case justice well thats the dream anyway and it is Christmas so it could happen if not ill just mod the H100 best i can well hope you all like and check in to see how its all going.

Quick question my 2600k can do 5.0 with 1.39vcore but heat lets me down would a good water kit fix this?

Certainly water would fix your heat probem. A dual 120 rad would do you good.

EDIT: just noticed you have a h100. I'm a little surprised your having heat issues. Perhaps you have a bad mount? what do your temps look like?

temps hit 80 under load with 4.8 so i dont want to go to 5.0 i believe the temp will hit 90+

Hmm? Ok I would at least try a remount with good TIM. The crap that comes pre-applied is not worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on:yepp:

Also where is it mounted, and how is the fan/air flow of your case arranged?

As far as buying good water cooling, if you just have a hot chip, I would expect it to get you about 10c cooler.
