Hi guys...

just curious to know what you guys run, in terms of voltages, on gtx2 (or something comparable) on sandy bridge for 1070-1090 7-7-6-20 54 1T? Curious because i have to run 1.84v to get them to run super pi 32m and still not waza stable :(

3d is fine with slightly lower volts
just wondering if there is something i'm doing wrong... or if i need to use other sticks and see if they're better

other timings are:
tRRD: 4
tRTP:4
tFAW:4
tWTR:4
tCKE:4
tWCL:4

not particularly sure if these are going to yeild best efficiency since i'm not 100% on what all of them do lol

too much voltage and efficiency drops a little

hmmm... i'll try and see if i can use a lower voltage.

Do you know what most people use, running ~same clocks?
for some reason super pi 32m will work if i don't use waza.. but i freeze if i do :(

don't kill the rams just for sp32m(and you don't have the 6er yet ) you can utilize those speeds for 3d01 and many gpus :D

just get a ram pot and be done with it... or another single stage just for the ram

yea you're right.. although i have two more sticks as back up lol.

will probaly get the 6er in a few days :D

don't worry i wont :)
i've been limiting voltage on these alot.. never went above 1.9v (short session) ever.
also have ram pots now

Don't be so sure that hypers will work as you dream :p
Depends your cpu's IMC. On my cpu I can run the GTX2s at 1150 CL7 with 1,74V or so. Couldn't do the same on my previous cpu...

^^^ This...I was never very impressed with my GTX2s, because I only got to try them with four CPUs...I'm sure if I could have found a better CPU I would have been more impressed ;)

@ badatgames....nice HW :D And nice runs....I think you can run those speeds at 1.8V or so without getting cold

thanks miah! :)

i'll take note of that

i think you are right.. swapped out to 2700k and i would get freeze after a few iterations with just 8-8-8 2133 1.65v (which is rock solid on my golden 2600ks)
so i think cpu imc is a big factor...
