Hello.. noob question. And I know it completely depends on the intended use.. but; If you had a fast 6Gbs controller, 4 fast ssd's and 4 6GBs hdd's how would you set it up ? specifically an lsi 9265-8i, 4 ocz 120GB Vertex3 mi and 4 WD black 1TB
I'm a vfx hobbyist/freelancer, enthusiast, gamer.. in that order. I was thinking one fast stripe just for the sake of having a really fast array with the ssd's no redundancy and a raid 10 for the storage but I know it probably a dumb setup.. I know nothing about parity stuff..
What would you do ?
