my old DFI has a week 45 A1 NB, it did 260fsb 2-2-2-5 pretty stable.. all was well.. i killed it, dont ask.

new one has a week 37 A1 NB.. now will this week 37 be as good as a week 45? should it? or are the older NBs better, especially if its an older A1 that still doesnt care about VDD?

i would hate to have this care about vdd or something.. or just suck

shoot.. if a mod would move this to teh AMD section.

My NF7-S has a 0309 NB. vdd is set to 2.02.
did 235 prime stable.,also tried 246 with low multi but vdimm fluctuation a lot. That's why it's set to 235x11 to max my cpu.

My new nb is week 45a1 and it seems a bit more stable than the week 24 nb's I had before... :)

When I get my second khx3200 I hope I can optimize my 3dmark and prime stability cause with one twinmos and one kingston I have probs :(

p.s. I think lapping the nb does not do anything for ya stability/perf, it even makes you lose ya warranty... Just a hint ;)

ok had mine checked out by cpu-z. here's what it says:
model: nf7-s [blabla] 1.x
chipset: nvidia nforce2 ultra 400 rev c1
sb: nforce2 mcp-t
has to be pre 0315, as that's the week i bought it

the rev 1.x with the model is a bit strange tho, as the mobo and the box have stickers telling me it's a rev 2.0 hmm

Believe it or not I have got a week 23 chip on my infinity. I can not double check because there is a celeron heatsink thermal epoxied on it now. The boards weren't quite yet being bought by the truckload so could be one of the first bunch made with existing chips.

When the an7 sucked people talked of wanting old nb's. Oh well, my CH5 hits the end of the road first anyway at 236. Well thats it at 3.1 vdimm anyway... Maybe I'll abuse it some more in the near future. Board doesnt really need any vdd to do this. Maybe because its older it would respond but there's no current need.

ya my nf7 also has 0301 A1... it will do 227FSB max without any additonal VDD mods (set to 1.7v in bios)
