Hi all.
I am really struggling to decide on a new monitor and hoping you good folks can guide in the right direction.
Currently have a Dell 2407WFP and it has been ace. I am purely after the best option for fps gaming.
I was just about to go for the Dell 2410 IPS but then started looking at the 120hz monitors.
I have been looking at the new Samsung 750 LED 120hz.
So they are my two options???
The Dell 2410

My main issue of the Samsung is that I will be going from a 24'' 1920x1200 to a 23'' 1920x1080.

So simple question.... Which one for the best gaming performance/experience???

Will the 120hz Samsung give any advantage on online FPS gaming against standard 60hz?
Smoother? Better hit reg? More precise?

If you haven't noticed any problems with the 2407 for FPS gaming, chances are you won't with the U2410 either. Question is whether you'll notice the downgrade in panel quality were you to get the Samsung 120Hz, not whether you'll notice 120 vs 60 Hz. Both the 2407 and U2410 have roughly the same response time and input lag when the U2410 is in game, about one frame. It's been said that in game mode the U2410 looks over saturated in colors though. Like I said, I think your concern should be picture quality, not 120 vs 60 Hz, unless of course you want to do some 3D gaming. You have to consider that A) if you're happy with the image quality of the 2407, and B) are even CONSIDERING getting a panel with mere 6 bit TN picture quality, whether the IPS panel would even be noticeable to you, or a wise investment.
