I bought one used recently... i opened it up which was a tiny bit hard to do since the allen screws were slightly stripped. The O rings seemed to be a bit worn down... the surface of the base plate itself had some weird deposits which looked like coagulated dye or some sort of mineral deposit.
In short, i'm thinking of replacing the baseplate with a new one... sidewinders sell it, but i was wondering, for anyone that's purchased it before... does it come with the necessary allen screws (that attaches the base plate to the rest of the block)? Anyone know if the size hk uses is standard and can be bought at local store? :shrug::shrug:
