I just picked one up. They also have the MS Basic Optical mouse for 4.98, makes for a good backup.

I got a rain check today and another one earlier this week. They would only let me have one for each raincheck though. The raincheck says I get them for $19.99 out the door no rebates and I don't have to pay the tax on $80.00. I also picked up 7 of those $5 optical mice. They make good backups.

I got my back ordered 80gb drive in time for the rebates. Now I have to send in the rebate forms. Kind of a hassel but I will do it for $60.

lol, yah young whippersnapper! ;)

I remember "in the day" when a 5 MByte HD cost $2,000. That's right, five MEGA bytes. I never owned one, who could afford or justify that?

It wasn't that long ago that the "great price" was under $1 per megabyte, now it's under $1 per gigabyte.

You're right in any case, they just keep getting cheaper all the time.
