Wel, its easy to see that nowadays, they are hard as hell to find on worldwide shipping sites . Always "out of stock"

For low FPI rads, is there a worthy replacement for them? thinking about pressure/silence? I dont want 3k rpm fans,

I'm in need of a GT 1450/1850 arch-enemy...

tanx in advance

I've been using Noiseblocker NB-Multiframe M12-S3HS 1800rpm, 124m³/h, 27dB. They are good rad fans & have a little more static pressure, But they're more pricey than the GT's

I agree, the NB-Multiframes are probably the ones closest to the GT as good rad fan:

If you don't want to turn them down to be REALLY quiet and have room then those 38mm Delta AFB 1212VHE rev c's are pretty damed good at 5 or 6 volts. This would have them running around 1600 or 1950 rpm at around 48 db to 52 db. and 35 or 44 cfm

My experience with running two wired in series has been a good one with no motor noise.

Thanks for the chart Alexandr0s. I hadn't realized how reasonable a performer the Scythe Kama-Flex fans were. I had just bought them because they were way cheaper than the S-Flex and figured they should do the same job.

I'm limited to 25mm, due to case dimensions...

deltas, that slow an that NOISY?

sorry, pass

That was what I was saying... If you are intending to run the Noiseblockers at full speed then the Deltas are more cfm and quieter when running at 5v.

BUT if you intend running the Noiseblockers undervolted.... well the Deltas just can't go there

Being 38mm puts the stop on this anyway

GT's are in stock in UK

the shipment to south america will kill me, but tanx for that...
I'll try them...

Now, suppose:

I'll try to get the 1450 GTs, so I have two rad options in my biuld. EK XT240 or Magicool Xtreme 240.
Magicool labels 14 FPi and Ek, sometihng like 11 ( acording to Skinee)

what would you get....?

Given that higher fin density rads work better a faster fan speeds and you want slower quieter then I suggest that the EK's might suit you better.

That said the difference between the two at around 1000 rpm is likely to be tiny and with gt 1450's at full speed is not much bigger

then I think I'll go with the cheaper, ...
