Found something that will enable powertune on Linux. I could test it yet because my additional PSUs still didn't arrive, but for anyone running GNU/Linux here's the post over at btc forums:

Note: All header files from the SDK need to go to /usr/include. Also I had to copy libatiadlxx.so from /usr/lib/fglrx to /usr/lib for the compile to work. A symlink would have been more elegant I guess. :shrug:
