Apogee XT with 2500K?

I currently have one, in my specs, with a 950, but will a 2500K work with it as well or would I need some type of adapter?

The XT will fit on 1155 (and 1156) boards no problem.

If you have an early version (that was shipped without the 1156 backplate) you'll need to contact Swiftech for them to ship you one. I think it's FOC.

You just need the 1155 backplate. The cuurrent kit comes with both 1366 and 1155/1156 backplates. The top hold down is slotted to have compatibility with either spacing.
