Hell, here goes!

The New CaseLabs TH10 & pedestal will arrive next week and I have added many parts since my last update and here is everything regarding H20 blocks;

1. R3E KL MB
2. i7 Aqua Kryos Silver
3. 580's 3 Aqua Nickel
4. 3 Aqua blocks for the three A5's
5. 1 ram block, thanks to RR!
6. 3 HDD's Aquadrive X4 Copper
7. 5 pumps, 2x2D5's with dual tops, the last pump TBD
8. Rads, 2 Feser 120.4's, Last rad TBD
9. Res, 400, 250 and the last TBD
10. Yes, this will be three loops!

Yes 12 blocks, it is extreme, however I would like some input! And yes, I am drinking! What is your excuse for reading this?

Let the fun begin!

But But... 3 is a holy number...

The blessed trinity... 3 is a prime number as well, and things in nature work better in 3.

trinary is better then binary, because you got neutral.

manage twa do i need to say more?

You can only be special on 3!!!

I have only begun to drink and this may be my Waterloo!

Here is my thinking, or lack there of;
1. CPU & Ram-2 D5's
2. 3 580's-2 D5's
3. HDD's & the 3 A5's-Pump undecided

I pour another. :D

I am drinking, the standing rib (prime rib) is cooking. but I have yet to get a suggestion regarding the third pump or res?

In the words of Monty Python, I may be an idiot, but I am no damn fool!

Maybe I should look for a shrubbery? :D

meh...

Speaking from a tri loop perspective.. and having been on tri loops.

You end up losing your parts b4 you install it, because your trying to balance 3 loops.

So seeker if u try to do three loops, make sure its after 3 hours of your last alcohol consumption.
Or your going to be cuzzing every 5 min... because u swore the watercooling fairy stole your fitting, or some part u needed.

I'd sack the D5s and go DDCs, but that's just cause I like the smaller footprint.

Nothing too difficult about 3 loops - you can handle it easily. I'm a bit disappointed you aren't wc'ing the PSU :)

I'd also like to suggest that you toss all the parts you keep scrapping for this Madness build my way, because I'm guessing I'll be able to build several working computers from your rejects ;)

I only drink after I build and then the ideas begin!

You never know what I am going to change and I would WC the PSU if I could! I will be happy to send you my unused EK nickel blocks.:D

You can see the two loop design in the worklog. I just tore everything down and I am waiting for the new case and a few more parts. With a little luck I will post the new stuff by the end of the week and a review of the case.

You know Koolance does make liquid cooled PSUs. So you COULD do it.

I did quad loop once. Never again. Too much tubing, too much wiring.

Wasn't there someone who did a build with 7 loops or something crazy like that a few years ago?

I'm not playing the "kill it with rads" game any more. I have a liquid cooled four-socket machine and my i7, and my wife has a liquid cooled Thuban, and we're more interested in playing games together than tearing stuff apart and putting it back together. I've not got the money or the wherewithal to keep playing like that.

A 3x120 for CPU alone and a 2x120 for a single 470 should keep my temps good. Past that, I'm more worried about ambients than rad overkill (Alabama summers are hot, and getting hotter.)

Who knows, I may find something else to cool?

That explains why I couldn't figure that statement out. I never think of alcohol, having never consumed it and having no wish to start doing so.

Still, that's an awful lot of blocks. Hard drives are shown to be more reliable when warm, according to Google server studies. That could fix some of that insanity right there.

I am building this based upon the case that I will be using. The HDD cooler is this one...http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/aqcoaqx4coed.html

It should look great with the case, and all of the faceplates will be powder coated to match the case.
