I need a small quiet pump that only has to pull duty on 1 gpu full cover block and an RX120 (maybe an RX240).

Ideally, I'd like to be able to control the speed of the pump either through a switch or voltage control from a fan controller.

Bonus if I can attach a reservoir to the pump. Thanks.

EK-DCP 2.2 might be what you are looking for:

koolance pmp-300 is also a possibility. Retail: 39.99

Power Consumption (at max): 9.6W
Voltage Range: 6 to 12 VDC
Maximum Temperature: 60°C (140°F)
Electrical Connector: 3-pin fan header with tachometer speed signal
Hose Connections: G 1/4 BSP Threads

however on a pump that tiny.. id think you'd want to run it at full speed all the time.
Tiny as in the entire pump without feet is only 72.5mm long x 52mm diameter.

+1... it's a decent and capable little pump from my testing. (Link (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=245795))

I was gonna say a MCP35x but after letting it run full speed, is WAY more then you need :p

Would it be possible to run the pump at enough speed to pump through a gpu block and rad and have TOTAL SILENCE while running at full load on the gpu?

I run it between 10%(the lowest it goes) and 20% it is silent, I had to hold it to find out if it was still on when I first slowed it down,(I suspended it in the air with the tubing) or if I put my ear 6 inches from it.

BTW, there is no loss by running it @ 10% thru my HK 3.0 LC and 480mm rad with about 6 feet of tubing.

I have to vote against the Koolance PMP-300. Not as small as a DCP2.2 and after months of use it's definitely not quiet (never really was), makes a buzzing and rattling noise. Drowns out everything else in my office, which can include 4 DDC3.2(5)s and a DDC3.1 at any given time. :(

Good performance for the money, but was never truly quiet (and is now downright loud) and it's longest dimension is bigger than a DDC's longest dimension.

The best bet is a MCP35x at 0-25% PWM duty, but also expensive. Second best bet would be a D5 @ 1-2, but also expensive. Maybe an EK DCP2.2 would be best?
