Speaking of Compusa, my folks are in the usa now mum went to Compusa 2 days ago, thursday and they had none in stock......she will be in Hawaii all next week on mauai if anyone knows there to get them?

If not they fly back to LA for 3 days and then come back home.....im thinking ill get her to go to a Bestbuy or something in LA maybe? I see theres a store near them just off Wilshire boulervarde need Westwood.....

Where would be the best spots to tell my folks to go to guys?

I was just informed that the first shipment of 9700 Pro arrived in Hong Kong today and I can pick one up tomorrow. Should be interesting.

while you're at it, could you tak a look at how to boost the clock frequency? I dont know for sure, but it looks like it might max out at 405 GPU (?)
In this case we need some modding to get higher. i've been thinking about changing crystals on the card, but that could mess up some things like refresh rate...

JC, like the 8500 I expect a firmware/bios upgrade for the card to be possible. The card might be locked internally.

I noticed a flaw in my card build. The HSF sits uneven on the core due to the core cap is on with a 1mm gap in it. I will get a new card asap.
