Hey all, wondering if there is a fullcover block avail for this board??? From the looks of it the UD7/UD5 appear to be the same board layout, just wondering if the "EK" UD7 block would fit on the UD5 or not??? The EK site says "no", but I'm looking for a second opinion....

The UD5 and UD7 have a "total" different design so those blocks, even though they look alike, will not fit on both boards. I have a Gigabyte X58 UD4P myself and I have recently bought the MIPS blocks. They fit on the UD5, UD4P, and the Extreme too I believe.

Here's what they look like:

They're about 145 euro's new and with a nickel finish. I bought mine used (copper) and it's being nickelplated as we speek :)

No - UD7 has it's own block...

UD5 and UD7 (Revision 2.0 for both), are the same PCB, so it should fit. EK Eddy can verify, he probably already knows this too I would imagine.

Revision 1.0 boards are different for UD5 and UD7, so the same does not apply to those.
