I need a new monitor to replace my aging Westinghouse 37" 1080P monitor, will retired it as bedroom TV so I'm looking for a replacement with smaller footprint, somewhere around 21~27" will suffice. I seldom game anymore, mostly use my PC for watching blu-ray movie and video/photo editing, refresh rate 60hz should be ok but obviously it won't hurt to go 120hz. Response time isn't critical so anywhere between 2~8ms will do. Resolution must be 1920x1080, or higher though. I'm staying far away from CRT due to size and weight so I'll stick with thin profile LCD/LED. Budget is $200~300. Any suggestion?

I bought an LG IPS236V for ~$230 (Best Buy had it on sale) and its awesome. For its price and the fact that its an IPS not a TN, its a steal of a deal. Its also LED and extremely thin.

That's a slick looking monitor.

I'd say for the price, it's hard to beat.
