I just wanted to run a poll to see what the average user has. As well, I'm curious to see what people are upgrading to.

You can make multiple votes

Just to keep things interesting, I figured I'll post all 3 drives I currently own.

30GB OCZ agility (mother's laptop)
64GB Kingston
256GB Samsung 470 (replacing my 120GB Agility)
(120GB OCZ Agility is RMA :( so I'm not counting it as I'll sell whaever they send me

My main system consists of 120GB. A 30GB X25-E and an 80GB ioXtreme. Although all my systems combined I have 260GB of SSDs.

~2TB of SSDs(1934GB)

Good thing too, looks like I totally need the space.

started with 60GB drives, then 80GB drives then 120GB drives my next step will be to 240GB drives :D

I'm all about max single drive performance nowadays.

I wonder who has a 512gb or larger SSD. That's a HUGE drive.

You should of had an option for 80GB (Intels).

But anywho: 3x 80GB Intel G2 RAID 0.

80GB X25-M (Win 7) and I've installed numerous X25-Vs at work and for family/friends over the last year and a half as effective, low-cost XP boot drives. Very happy with all of them. ;)

I wouldn't go RAID due to loss of TRIM. I don't do anything that would require more than the speed I've got - I'd consider myself a pretty normal user (surf, mail, Office, light games, some work in Blender), and it's plenty.

Forgot about those, sorry. :(

I can't add the option since the poll started.

I have at least two in each system. Last year I bought 60 GBs and this year I have been buying 120s.

I personally would rather go with one ~240 but the speed and price of two 120s has been better each time I went to buy.

Sorry that wasn't directed at you specifically, more so the people who have 8x C300s in a RAID.

I have some.. but I use less than half of my single 256GB in my main system, so what's the point of putting them in? :P
If you have space/ports for it, something like 2x256GB or 4x128GB usually nets better performance and better mitigation in case of data loss.

yeah believe me they are uber expensive....i just now moved up to 480's if that tells you how poor i am LOL been rockin a 920 and dual 280's for a long time. spending too much money on ssd and raid cards.

BUT i couldnt afford the c300's i have. I am doing reviews/testing of several raid cards etc, so they are provided by Crucial.

was lucky enough to have 8 60gb OWC drives for awhile, man those were smoking fast too.

I guess I didn't realize how many enthusiast industry "big dogs" were on here in respect to manufacturer recognition.
