not getting nforce Soundstorm in control panel

clean install, new system, and the 3.13 nforce drivers that i installed didn't load up the nforce soundstorm utilities. so i uninstalled them, and install the ones that came off the cd. But there is still no soundstorm control panel..

System specs:

350watt psu
2500+barton
abit nf7 rev 2.0
Gf4 MX440
2 256MB KVR
WD 80GB hdd
DVD-Rom
52xCD-RW

hm, think i answered my own question, the nf7 doesnt have soundstorm, just regular AC97 sound right? Well, the problem is there is no CD audio. what giveS?

Exactly. :p: The NF7-S has it.

Guess the S stands for Soundstorm and SATA.

I think you gotta get the realtek (www.realtek.com.tw) drivers for 6 channel sound...
