Hey,

Researching my next upgrade, I have decided on the A64 3200+, but not sure on the Mobo.

being a poor uni bum, I want to keep my existing RAM (KHX 3500 BH-5). There are numerous people who are have huge problems getting the Shuttle AN50R to run RAM at Cl2 except for the muskin, and this KHX 3200 non A.

So my question is does the K8N-Pro have these same RAM compatibility probs? Does it like high FSB (working AGP lock?). Have people got above 1.55v for vCore? (read there was a problem and even with mods it won't do over 1.55v).

I won't be modding this board so want it tp performe well stock. that being said I will be air cooling so my CPU will most likely be the limit.

Any Ideas? Thanks

I got the K8NPRO and a 3000+ prommy cooled.
The board has the vcore mod, didn't made de vdimm mod.
Running 270x10 24/7 with 1.74v and 298x9.5 with 1.96v for 3DMark. No problems with the AGP (it has an AGP lock). It doesn't have the PCI lock but i don't have any problem with hard drives, onboard sound, etc...
I'm using Mushkin PC3500.

Nice work just 1 questions, :)

That all done using a single 512MB dimm of mushkin or 2 x 256. dumb question but i wanted to ask.

My board arrives on tuesday, I ordered it for the oc reasons as well, many people like it alot. And it was recommended to me as the board of choice for those who want decent Oc's with out vmodding.
