Anyone have an experience with the new IPS LED panels that are starting to trickle out? They look nice on paper and I am considering biting the bullet on the Asus.

IPS236V (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/LG+-+IPS+Series+23%22+LED+Monitor/2031077.p?id=1218306466603&skuId=2031077&st=ips&cp=1&lp=1) just became available at bestbuy. I think I am going to go and check it out in person. Much less ugly than the Asus.

Just got back from bestbuy with my IPS236V. All I can say is holy crap! Moving from an Asus VW246H (TN) to this IPS is just simply amazing. I know this panel is not by any means premium but it really is quite a step up from TN. Also, been playing BF2 and I can't detect any ghosting (which is my main concern switching to IPS).

Is the screen glossy or does it have an AG coating? Is the text crisp on a white background? Thx.

It does have an AG coating but text is clear on white backgrounds.
