nice setup MrIcee. ur da m8! :D

speaking honour I don't like your cooling head mounting but it's fast to do and easy to unmount
maybe If my Xabre200 was working I would be a quite good competitor to your, but destiny is a strange thing to understand :)

congrats!

Thanks my friend:)

You summed it up, it was fast and easy to mount the cooling head that way...and effective and cheap:)

Hmmm MrIcee I just noticed that you dont use your usb ports..you use the PS2 ports instead....would you mind telling me why ? :)

When benching 3DMark I turn off all onboard functions including USB, IE1394, LAN, audio, Parallel and serial ports etc etc. They are extra resources that don't need to work for benching, that could effect stability at xtreme overclocks. It's also a noted fact that having a LAN connection active will reduce total system bandwidth, along with USB. When in competition, every point counts...and anything that can increase stability is a plus.:)

can tell me, what part of GPU is covered by Mach2 evap with your mouting :) ? (I know answer, but I wish you to answer on my question)

Sorry to OT MrIcee, but what are your impressions of the Abit K8V?

Asus built their first versions serialed with 34,35 and 36M with Canterwood chipsets because of a shortage of Springdale chipsets. With a clever flashing of the bios you can unlock it's full Canterwood potential. Have I done it?? Nope...but when I sell this board it has alot of potential for someone who wishes to do the "magic" flash.

Almost all of the GPU is covered with my mounting, just a tad is not because of the interference of the caps at the bottom of the card by the AGP slot.

Hi Sandman:)

It's a very nice board with good performance per clock compared to nForce3 boards, BUT is not a true overclockers board. There is only a 1/6 AGP/PCI divider and to go higher than 240Mhz you really need an add in IDE controller to prevent HD corruption.

It has a ton of features with onboard LAN, sound etc.

And in my case resoldering those caps (3 little at bottom and one at left side) gaved a 100% evap contact with GPU.
Cheers :toast:

I didnt know it!, thank you Randi :D

My P4P800 is a 35M :toast: Now I understand its superb performance. I already made the clever flash (BigToe's Dual BIOS Flash, right?)

Greetings.
