How much higher is the 580 gpu than the 480?

I have a danger den fc block but I have a 580. I realize the ram has shifted but the big thing is the gpu is physically 'taller' on the 580. Does anyone know how much? Some people say the DD-FC-480 block works on 580s with the right thickness thermal pads on the memory but no one actually said what thickness thermal pad they used.

Any info would be amazing... might finally get this build nailed down

I did... multiple times and not once did I see anyone mention the actual change in height. Also, in that thread is someone who mentions their DD-FC block working... which is one of the examples i have of it working...

I cannot find, like i stated in the OP, anyone that actually states the height difference. I'm not asking because I'm lazy, I'm asking because I hope someone who actually knows sees this.
