This seems to be the only board that newegg has in stock. Should I just settle on this board or wait another week or 2 for something else? My only concerns with this boards are:
1. What is the preferred BIOS to flash too?
2. The VRM doesnt look very strong, r they???
3. Will this board do 8x 8x in CF, or 16x 4x???

other then those questions, seems like a decent board... I really loved my 890fxa-gd65 AMD board I just sold, so I have plenty of faith in MSI.......

Bit-tech found this board clocks the cpu 100mhz or so lower than the asus boards. Not sure if that's still the case (bios update?), but it was enough to make me start to look elsewhere.

Also agree - vrm doesnt look great. Its supposed to be more efficient than the others so doesnt need to be as over specced. Personally id rather its was more efficient and over specced.

1. bios find the latest ones...
2. these sandybits are low power silicons.... no need for overspec'd vregs..
3. dunno

100mhz or so lower? hmmm thats hard to believe...

I ended up ordering an asus sabertooth.... This is the board I really wanted! Newegg just posted a bunch of B3 1155 boards... FINALLY

The minute you settle for less than you desire you get even less than you expected. This seems to applies to just about everything ;)

Memory fail - was in fact overclockers club... Link. (http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/p67_motherboard_roundup/14.htm)

MSI topped out at 4875mhz and the asus boards hit 4951-4966mhz. Like I said it may be fixed on new bioses, but I'm not willing to take the risk :). I saw a really cheap GD65 B3/2500k bundle and this was just enough to put me off and wait a little longer. Want to see what the new P67 Foxconn Quantum Force board can do when it hits as that should be similar or cheaper priced.
