Newegg 1700+ unlocked

I got 4 of these from newegg today. They havnt had 1700+'s in stock for a while, I thought they dropped them.

Think i paid $47 each for them.

Good news is they are all unlocked and upon testing them 2250 on a factory HS is no problem. I like to run them as 2800XP's in customers rigs on the cheap so that's what i test them at to start for 24 hours I'll try and max them out later. But if you still looking for unlocked Cheap CPU's. You might have a shot for cheap right now on the batch they have in.

I've really missed unlocked chips. Surprised me!!! I usually go through at least 10 a month of the 1700+'s

Good deal. I just ordered a refurb'd XP2000 in the hopes that it will be unlocked. It's just for a co-worker's rig but I'd like to give him a good speed.

Newegg has been OOS on these for a month. Like I said i figured they were discontinued. I pin mod these for budget boards and lock them in @ 2600+xp's or 2800+xp's. The new AMD chips as you know dont go for the pin mod anymore.

for the last month i've just been using 2400+ thortons.

Man... sounds like you do a few systems here and there. ;)

I picked up the XP2000 for $42 delivered so I'm going to be happy no matter what(as long as it's not DOA).
