I finally got my new mobo today from Asus. They shipped it from Cali to Maryland, across US overnight by Fedex.

From the day i got an email from them that my board is ready to be shipped out on March 2nd and the day i got the board on March 8th, i have to say this was very very fast.

Plus, they included free Asus HS-101 Headset.

Pics.

Update;

I installed the mobo. Everything seems to be working just fine so far.

It came with BIOS 1305.

One thing i noticed, is that it takes less time to POST when i performed a reboot, about 1-2 seconds quicker.

My P8P67 Deluxe came yesterday too, direct from Asus. One thing I noticed...the same exact AI Tweaker settings have the new board reporting a much lower CPU voltage.

Old board = 1.376V
New board = 1.344V

Settings:
AI Overclock Tuner = Manual
BCLK/PEG Frequency = 100
Turbo Ratio = By All Cores = 48
Internal PLL Overvoltage = Enabled
Memory Frequency = DDR3-2133
OC Tuner = Disabled
EPU Power Saving Mode = Disabled
DRAM Timing Control = 9-11-9-24-2T
CPU Power Management -> Additional Turbo Voltage = .184V
Load Line Calibration = Regular
Phase Control = Extreme
Duty Control = Extreme
CPU Voltage = Offset Mode = .005V
DRAM Voltage = 1.6V
VCCIO = 1.125V

Temps are lower too, so I don't think this is just a reporting error. Haven't crashed yet, need to test the new board overnight or something...

EDIT: Wasn't stable... Needed to bump my offset to +.020V from +.005V. Also needed to bump my Additional Turbo Voltage an arbitrary amount from .184V to >.200V

My replacement P8P67-M Pro showed up yesterday DOA. I called Newegg today and they had no answers to my questions and said they would call back tomorrow. Pi$$ed it an understatement.

LOL... ouch dude... that would piss me off as well.

Another update.

My system is stable at 4Ghz as it was with old mobo, im not going higher because i have a mediocre cooler. Over all the system is running smooth with out any issues. *knocks on the wood*.

I ran to fedex and picked it up, lol. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. My new p8p67 Deluxe is doing the exact same overclock so all is well in the world. They also shipped me the free headset :) The only loose end is that they never sent a new shipping label for the return shipping back to Asus.

Yuck! Foxconn CPU socket... Funny, the review samples showed LOTES IIRC.

Call them and they will email you a return shipping label.

Original P6P87 mobos use half of Foxcon parts. PCI and PCIE rails have Foxcon name on it.

Looks like I can't use Additional Turbo Voltage with any kind of reliability on the new board while the old one was completely stable with those settings. Seems like the new board is just an entirely different beast and happiest using Ultra High LLC for a 4.8 GHz OC. Seems a lot trickier to OC via offset because idle voltages are much lower now.

The PCB layout hasnt changed, that is why its still 1.01. My new mobo is also 1.01. I didnt post a picture of it so people dont get confused.:shakes:

BTW, your link doesnt work.

So i dropped off the old mobo at the drop off Fedex box last night around midnight. Today i keep checking tracking number that Asus gave me to make sure the old mobo is on its way back to Asus. Fedex website shows nothing as if they didnt get it.

After speaking with Fedex on the phone today around 8pm, they tell me that the drop off box i used is for Express shipping only and that Fedex will bring me back my mobo so i can drop it off at proper location. So instead of them taking care of the situation and giving the package to the proper department of Fedex, they will bring it back to my house? Great.....:ROTF::mad::clap::shakes::down:

I hope Fedex doesnt lose it, i dont want to pay $210 Asus took out my credit card.
