Hi There!
I currently have 2 x 245B Samsungs and a 2443BW Samsung connected to my HD6970.
I am going to replace them as my father in law wants my 245B's and one of my staff wants my 2443BW.
Originally I was going to purchase 3 x 2443BW+'s but then I thought that if I had to replace them all, then I could start from scratch.
12 Months ago before the baby was born I was doing 40% gaming, 40% Office Work, 20% Video Playback (DIVX/XVID).
Right now I am doing 80% Work, 15% Playback of the same type of video and 5% gaming. I do however want a faultless gaming experience when I do get to play.
At the office I have 2 x ZR24W and they are fantastic. I can get these for around $470 Kiwi, and the 2443bw+ for $350 Kiwi.
I have been told that 1900x1200 monitors are done with (I like 1900x1200) and that I should buy 1900x1080 Monitors with LED Backlighting as they are cheaper and better, but I am not entirely convinced. I was also told that new games won't have 1900x1200 support.
I don't want Dell, but within reason will consider anything else.
Primary, with it's IPS-S Screen the HP Monitor seems good, but I am not 100% convinced it's flawless in gaming.
Should I get a 1080 or 1200 monitor? Should I get TN or IPS and are there any other monitors I should consider.
Thanks in advance.
