View Full Version : How much a GTX360 radiator will dispense with push/pull?

We have a debate, and its unclear.

Skinee's review of the 360 radiators, had two numbers at 5c delta.
about 340W for 1800RPM fan, and 580W for a 2800RPM 38mm fan.

Following martin's review of the TFC shroud, which he stated that push/pull should bring a 20-30% performance increase, and the shrouds brings another 10-16%, I'm trying to analyze how much my setup is capable of.

I am trying to figure how much will a AP-15 fans at push->shroud->rad->pull will be able to dispense on the GTX360 radiator?
Will it be similar or close to the 2800RPM value, much lower?

My setup at full OC, considers a 980x at 1.58v, four 580 at 1.2v and UD9 motherboard.
How much watt should I assume as heat on the parts?
I believe its 300W per card, 250W for the cpu and 100w for the motherboard parts, for a total of 1550W (give or take).

As my system keeps the average temp at the res at 23-24c when room temps at 20c, I believe that the capacity of the radiators is close to 500 or more per radiator, as the delta is very lower than 5c.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Miscalculations?

How many rads you running?
And why on earth are you running such a high voltage through your 980x?
Intel chips don't like voltage, it'd not good for them.

I'm running 3 radiators, all at push/pull with a shroud.

I'm putting it that way just when I bench once in a while. 24/7 I'm running at 1.36v for 4.2ghz. Same with the cards. I run them at 1.075v for 24/7.

The CFM and pressure on those 3000 RPM fans is amazing, MUCH more than the AP15s. Take a gander at the specs on those two fans. Someone has given the specs on those fans, I don't remember where, might be in two places. The AP15 in push pull will be less than the 3000 RPM screamers he used. My feeling is the shrouds will have less effect than what Martin said with screamer fans. I'd say you'll get 20% more with shrouds and push pull. 1850 RPM is still at the low end of really getting a GTX to respond well.
