ok, i just bought a maze2, DD chipset block and a no name aluminum gpu block from a friend. they are all unused so i have no clue about performance. the chipset block is the very bottom right ($27.50) but im including pics too.

http://www.dangerden.com/mall/chipset.asp

my question is would the copper DD chipset block cool my GPU better or about the same as the aluminum block. ive included pics of both blocks next to the maze2 for size.....

i had a maze2 - i hated it - wouldn't fit on a shuttle board i borrowed from hardass.

i would go with the middle block but replace the barbs with some 90 degree elbows..... you'll waste less pci slots.

ok.... this might help more. im going to be using it as a daily cooler... not looking for a benching block. ill be running it in its own loop with a minijet 606 160gph pump and its own radiator and res.

the blue alu. block is a maze type block with a base thickness about the same as the DD chipset block. it measures 2" X 2" and is 1" thick.

the DD is i little over 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" and is is the same thickness as the maze2.... 3/4" thick

i didnt see you reply JBELL :) im not to worried about PCI slots.... im using onboard stuff. its going on my ti4200 on the IT7.

the maze is going on my 2200+ for now... cant complain i bought everything for $40 :-D
