The new beta for the K8V is out there. The version is 1005.006 and it can be downed over here : http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=K8V%20Deluxe
Until now I noticed no differences:
- Still no dividers
- Still no beep at post
- Still the hard drive spindown at startup.
I havent tried the Cool'n'Quiet feature, but why should I want to use it, I wan't to go faster, not slower.
I've had some problems installing this version. Computer wouldn't boot after the flash. Took a bios clear with the battery removed to get the thing going again.
