Which laptop?

Acer Aspire AS5253-BZ602

2GB RAM
250GB 5.4K RPM HDD
15.6" Screen
~~more of a full sized lappie

so i've looked around new egg as well, and outfitted a 500GB laptop HDD and 4GB of RAM as well if I decide to go the Acer laptop.

coming out, the Acer is overall cheaper to get even after buying the new HDD and RAM on newegg cause I can always sell off the stock HDD and RAM

however, i'm more worried about battery life and weight;
the HP has on average about 5-6hours with wifi and screen on 70%
i'm sure the acer will suck down more battery due to a larger screen

any opinions?

another option would just be to get the base line model for the HP pavillion lappie (ie 320gb hdd, 2gb ram) and i'll buy an SSD and 2x2GB ram kit for it locally here

HP looks better (IMO), has a better battery life, and is smaller / lighter... I'd opt for that.
