I custom a tubing interconnect plate fit to Corsair 800D. Void tubing cross from 5.25" bay to CPU Block. Next time i will add DDC pump to it. Plate will be top of pump.
Acrylic, CNC work and painted.

i like it.. but its too specific.

If you could make those outlets variable somehow.. omg.. u would have one hell of a product.

I love this, Can you give a Price quote for an 800D version right now? You should look at patent and selling your idea before its gone im sure you've already patented it.

But yes a price right now on the CNC Production of this Interconnection would be intriguing to me.

once again very sexy, Mind posting temps/ambients etc? Wonder if it effects flow or anything..

sunnyville

I too would be interested in the impact on flow this has - if it's not that bad, I would be very interested in one of these. Just not for the 800D

If you find a way to take a more 'unversal' apprķach, so that your components could fit in more cases - I have a little Devil V8 for example, then I would order this immediately, as would so many others.

Also, what material are the plates made out of? Please don't tell me they are aluminum?

Looks like they are made of POM/Delrin/Acetal but I cant be sure from the pix and its very easy to turn out some thing like this on a CNC mill. Also I agree that those blocks are an abomination and should be shot from a cannon at some other hunk of crap so it destroys both of them lol.

holy shyt how did i miss this, great work dude, How's the temps though ? Have you tested with and without the plate ? You should start making these for custom builds/mobos and sell them off on XS..

I'd like to see where you get your information from.

Unfortunately Koolance isn't a censored word here, and Koolance much improved their products lately. The new RP-452X2 and RP-402X2 should give you an idea of the quality of their product.

Lets not turn this into a debate over the quality of his chosen components. Enjoy the innovation and workmanship presented by the OP and leave it at that.

avddreamr
02-19-2011, 02:00 PM
That's a simply beautiful idea.

To the people that are criticizing the choice in coolant, water block manufacturer, and the inevitable person who points out all the 90 degree bends. I am sure that the OP is well aware of the possibility of gunk in the loop, the increased restriction that could decrease his temperatures by a few degrees celcius, and that koolance had a long history of aluminum products (which they have corrected) which offends the delicate sensibilities of some forum members....

Get over it.. he knows... and the build is beautiful.

i wish i had the tools to do this to my case. its a revolution in watercooling and i think... you should make some sort of guide on how to do this.
benifit for the masses, also set up a paypal account for support to this cause.

but that case looks stunning just :O

+1 internets to you sir.

Come up with something for the Pinnacle 24 - my next case. ;)

NaeKuh
02-20-2011, 05:56 PM
Nhen, being serious now..

Can you design a u bracket... or a step with a wider oring, that would allow you to make the outlets variable.

So u would need a recessed ring around the area so the oring wont jump around when you slide the barb.
The top would need to be steel, or some metal that smooth and wont cause the oring to bunch up.

This way you could slide the outlets in variable locations, and still hold a water tight seal.

mmmm am i making sense?

Alexandr0s
02-20-2011, 06:37 PM
Definitely, and I like the idea! Though I think it would add to the thickness of the plate, something of which I don't know whether it's a good thing. But definitely some awesome possiblities there :O
