Hey all

I've tried the pin mod way to connect AH32-AH28. I planted a wire down in the socket.

When I turn on the pc it starts and so but no picture on the monitor? Help please!

SYS:
1700+ (before mod @2947mhz)
NF7-S rev. v.2.0
vdd and vdimm mod
Hyperx PC3500
nVENTIV Mach2@r404a
BIOS d10

All is "going" after the mod, but the coolers on the ASUS 9800XT stops after 1 minut when no screen - just black.
Tried other gfx, did'nt help.

Does'nt the mod work with bios d10 or something???

The mod works with all bios's. You might be accidentally touch antoher pin. Did you mod the socket or the back of the processor?

I planted a small strand of wire in my socket as well for my xp1700+. I'm pretty sure I used a strand of wire from an old IDE cable.

Does everything boot up when you remove the wire?
