Hi,
I have the F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL, Intel i5 2500k, Asus P8P67 PRO, Crucial c300 64gb x2 in raid 0, Samsung F3 1tb x2 in raid 1, windows 7 pro.
I'm planning on putting it together when I wake up, I read on the Asus forums that people had problems booting while running the ram at 1600 and had to enable the xmp profile in bios, will this ram run at 1.5v when I oc the cpu?
Should I send back this kit and order the F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL, does the F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL need an xmp profile to run at 1600 and will this ram run at 1.5v when I oc the cpu?
I know the F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL kit is on the Asus QVL list but the F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL is not, but obv the x series is designed for sandybridge.
I just want the best compatibility with the mb to acheiv the most stable oc result and this was the only thing that was bothering me
