am I doing something wrong?

I just ran my bench and recieved 8300 on my 8500 clocked at 290/290 on a 2.26 clocked at 2.89 at 171 FSB (no 3:4 ratio on my board)

is there something more I can do, because this seems low for what my radeon should be able to get.

Faster 3d01 bench's come from more than 1 area...think of a 700hp race car without slicks ...it just sits there and spins...I would advise you to follow the 3d01 Tweak guide we have posted, to give yourself a good foundation...also how long since you defraged? What O/s are you useing and what do you have running while your benching?

not running anything at all, on 2k, and just installed 2k, so prolly needs a good defrag.

I'll play with the guide and see whta I can do
