I got 2 cpu blocks one from swiftech and another from aquacomputer but none of them has a backplate for this socket:rofl:

I got the Gtz from swiftech , do i really need to buy a new block or has any of this brands released backplates for this socket???

Or do i need to do some custom ones for them?

Damn because i really dont want to burn more money in cpu blocks when all this new sockets are released:down:

AFAIK, socket 1155 has exactly the same hole spacing as socket 1156 meaning that a 1156 backplate should probably work on a 1155 board.

I know the backplate that comes with the Coolermaster Hyper 212 works on a GA-P67A-UD7 motherboard.

It's a shame that I bought my Apogee XT before 1156 even came out. So it only came with an 1366 backplate... and I can't find anywhere to buy a 1156 backplate.

I don't know if it'll fit the blocks you have but when I mounted a D-Tek Fuzion V2 on my DFI MI P55-T36 (Link) (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4456279&postcount=6), I was able to use the Thermalright back plate.

Contact Swiftech - they should send you out a 1156 plate for it.
