Too Much AS5?

After not being that happy with some of my loaded temps I pulled my HSF off thinking maybe I put too much AS5 on.

looks litttttle bit too much, you can tell its spreading over the side of the ihs and super thick at your edges. Pretty good mount though looks even :D

Thanks, this was what I was suspecting so I re-applied with less. Loaded temps seem to be better and it will get better when the AS5 cures. My loaded temps are not consistent across all cores though, It looks like Core 3 is running hotter by 7-8C

Yeah, too much, you need 2x less or so. Looks like the pressure isn't very good, also...

That's way too much. You do't need more than a graine of rice on CPU-olny.

What makes you say the pressure wasn't very good? I was scared torquing it down.
