Ran accross these headphones.

What you guys think?

Is there better for gaming?

And if you have these, do they hook up easy enough to us???

So, like you don't get an accurate perception of which direction sounds are coming from?

Maybe it depends on how big your ears are? LOL

umm, my friend did a review of them, he said they are GREAT for gaming, good for listening to music, and shallow but satisfactory for movies.

i like mine at night. but during the day, nothing compares to a true 6.1 surround sound system except for a true 7.1 surround sound system. I also had to turn the bass in every setting up as high as i could to match having a real sub. nothing would compare to a true surround sound with speakers above and below you so you can hear the bombers above you, or the bushes or something better. when are they gonna make something like that?

yep, i've had sony headphones for ages.. when they broke i fixed those with scotch... my dad couldn't stand the sight of that back then and i got his sennheiser - still have it. best i've come across so far - expensive but worth it.

I recommend these too all my customers.

That late night gaming with logitech 680's drives the wife crazy if you know what i mean. I'd rather not use headphones. But sometimes you have too.

The Zalmans seem interesting, 3 headphone jack hookup!!! Might have to at least give them a shot. They might be nice for DVD's at night.

Anyone on here have a set??

Tedinde,

Thanks for the link. So you like the HD-497s? How are they as compared to the HD-570s? The 570's high frequencies are too high for me...too much treble. Have you noticed that with the 497s also? Heck for $50 I think I will order them. I need some decent headphones, but not too pricey. They should be fine for gaming late at night when you don't want to keep the whole house awake with explosions and gun fire. As far as music goes, I have some decent full size surround sound speakers that I'm thinking about pluging into my gaming/video rig. ;)

BTW: the 590's are awesome, but still too bright for me... just can't pop the cash down right now.:(
