With this under a waterchiller does the perspex top crack?

Yep plexi glass tends to get brittle at clder temps and crack easily thats why everyone suggest copper top blocks for waterchilling
The top isn't plexiglass or perspex, it is made from Polycarbonate I believe which is quite alot stronger than both.

Heh im happy enough, i have a white water. Cascade later in the year, but i don't think there is too much performance boost?

For a copper Cascade about 2c and for the silver 3c.
Also give many a modest boost in O/C as well.
Still a good deal of money for 2-3c, but great workmanship from the best block designer there is.
