Hi,

I'm looking for a set of 4x2GB RAM that can run at least 1600Mhz [actual speed, not advertised] on a X48 board. Thanks.

PS: I meant currently stocked products.

I`m not Gskill, though have played with Blackops and 4x 2Gb.
In the Blackops section you`ll find some good guide`s and info.

They work fine. For more info you`d could contact "zsamz "

He`s still playing with 775 and Hypers and PSC I think.

Not sure what you mean by actual speed, advertised speed is actual speed.

Here are some 2 x 4GB kits that are compatible. The ECO Series will require overclocking since it is a 1.35V, so avoid that one if you want to stay at DDR3-1600.

Thank you

This particular board does not support 4GB sticks; it has to be a 4x2GB kit.

Man, this blows. Went to your link yesterday and saw the PI 4x2GB set and did some research on it. Decided to get it today. Went to the link again, and now Newegg deactivated the item!

Sorry about that, a lot of the performance kits are limited right now, so they are quickly out of stock. Get on the Auto-Notify list or check back every so often, they should be available shortly.

I didn't mean out of stock, I mean deactivated, as in no longer carried by them. So I got to figure out if the ECO kit that is 7-8-7-24-2N would be a good fit.

NewEgg does deactivate items that are still active, but out of stock.

The ECO can be a good fit, as long as you overclock it. Motherboard will not support rated specifications, such as 1.35V.
